Welcome to Ashes Creek Kikos!

Ashes Creek Kikos is a family-owned farm located near Bloomfield, Kentucky, on a 20+ acre farm in the heart of central Kentucky. We are conveniently situated just 15 minutes from Bardstown and approximately 45 minutes from both Louisville and Lexington KY.

We offer 100% New Zealand Kiko goats as well as percentage Kiko goats. After extensive research, we chose the Kiko breed for its exceptional qualities as a meat goat. Kikos are known for their hardiness, producing vigorous, fast-growing kids that consistently raise to weaning due to their strong maternal instincts. They require minimal producer input and medical care, have an easy-going temperament, and are among the most teachable goat breeds.

The health of our herd is a top priority. All of our goats are regularly eye-scored for parasites and receive routine fecal testing. In addition, our herd undergoes routine testing for CL (Caseous Lymphadenitis), CAE (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis), and Johne's Disease. We have found our herd to be highly parasite tolerant . All goats receive CDT and Pneumonia vaccinations, along with a yearly copper bolus. Our goats are friendly, and accustomed to regular human interaction.

We are registered with the American Kiko Goat Association (AKGA), and our goats are DNA resgisterd, ensuring accurate parentage and herd records.
